Aki Naito
Stylist Aki Naito knew from a remarkably young age that hair would be his future. In pursuit of this dream, Aki became an assistant at the age of 15 and was cutting hair as a stylist in his native Japan by the time he was 16. Aki moved to NYC to challenge himself with the diverse array of hair that such a cosmopolitan city has to offer. He has thrived in this environment for the last 20 years, working in such premier salons as Pierre Michel, Jacques Dessange, Cornelia Day Spa and now Sharon Dorram Color at Sally Hershberger.
For Aki, hair is a very simple thing. It has its own personality. Aki has the ability and training to uncover and develop this unique character, allowing the client to see what their hair is truly capable of achieving. His joy is working with a client's hair texture/structure, individual personality and lifestyle to create the perfect style, so "you can love your look everyday."
