For the past 25 years, Carlos Rodriguez's coloring and styling techniques have been inspired by the creativity within Hollywood. “Having an appreciation early on for hit shows such as Charlies’ Angels and Dance Fever, I was drawn to fashion and wanted to be a part of creating the looks we see every day.”
Rodriguez began his career assisting for a platform stylist while traveling around Southern California. While working on-set, he discovered his passion in color and teamed up with L'Oreal to become a trained educator in the technique. For the past 12 years, he performed color in top-notch salons including Cristophe Salon of Beverly Hills and Prive Salon in Los Angeles.
Known for using the European brushed-on highlight technique known as Balayage, Rodriguez gives blondes sun kissed strands and the locks of brunettes warmth and dimension. In addition to color, he mastered the keratin blow out two and a half years ago. This process irons a blend of keratin, silica and panthenol into the hair, resulting in smooth, more manageable locks for up to six weeks. Rodriguez now perfects his craft at Sally Hershberger Los Angeles, where he naturally transforms and creates the best look he perceives for each individual.
His high profile celebrity roster includes Teri Hatcher, Kristin Chenoweth, Shannon Doherty, Emma Roberts, Stevie Nicks, Paulina Rubio, Cheri Currie, Sara Rue, Brittney Robertson and Jewel.
