Frederique
Frederique's exploration into the world of hair began at a very young age, having grown up in her mother's hair salon in the south of France. Self taught, she describes herself as an "urban nomad" who has been traveling the world and styling hair for over 15 years.
While living and working between London, Paris and New York, Frederique was fortunate to find mentors in several multidisciplinary artists who helped her develop her own, creative style.
She is constantly fascinated with the positive psychological effect of a fitting haircut and is passionate about making her clients happy. Specializing in extensions and textured cuts, Frederique takes inspiration from her client's fashion, culture and lifestyle when creating their tailored hairstyles.
Since deciding to call New York home several years ago, Frederique has worked alongside some of the most notable stylists in the industry and is now a regular backstage at New York Fashion week.
Frederique is currently based at Sally Hershberger Downtown in New York City.
