Laurie Talbott
Colorist Laurie Talbott relocated seven years ago from Virginia to pursue what had become her single-minded dream: coloring hair in the "city that never sleeps." She began her training at Louis Licari, under the guidance of Kathy Galotti and Louis Licari himself. In 2007 she joined Sharon Dorram's color team, moving with her to assist in the opening of Sharon Dorram Color at Sally Hershberger.
Today, Laurie is creating her own honey-highlighted brunettes, caramel tones and head-turning blondes at Sharon Dorram Color at Sally Hershberger. To provide the best color possible, Laurie considers a handful of pivotal factors: client's natural hair color and current hair color, prior coloring history, skin tone and eye color. Through conversation she also acquires a close understanding of the client and how they see themselves. This allows her to achieve an individualized color in harmony with a client's lifestyle, career and image. When working towards subtle, natural results, Laurie recommends staying close to a client's natural color. Yet, she also loves to have a little fun in her chair and knows how to achieve fantastic bold statement looks. Under Laurie's guidance, her clients discover color perfection - "the hair you've been waiting for."
