Marie Robinson
Marie Robinson's career began at the age of 19 when she apprenticed at Pierre Michel Salon NY in 1993. It is here at Pierre Michel's that Marie discovered her artistic flair and natural inclination towards hair color and all of it's attributes. Her fondness for this art form led her to a fulltime apprentice position with Pierre. Marie excelled in the salon and soon began assisting other established talents in the industry; including hair stylist, Danilo.
Soon after 1996, Marie moved onto John Freida Salon to apprentice Christophe Robin, to master the skill of bialage (hair painting) at Christophe's side. After five years with John Freida, Marie's talent as well as her desire to teach the craft, caught the attention of Bumble and Bumble, where she continued her work as a fulltime colorist to clients and instructor to colorists until 2003.
Her accomplishments were noticed by Sally Hershberger and Tresemme. She was hired by Sally and contracted by Tresemme as a spokesperson, in Sally's NY salon, where she works to this date as a colorist with a roster of celebrity clients; Scarlet Johansson, Liv Tyler, Uma Thurman, Anne Hathaway, Rachel McAdams and Stephanie Seymour.
Marie Robinson is currently based in New York City at Sally Hershberger Downtown.
