Matt Fugate
Recruited by the legendary Sally Hershberger to be her prot'eg'e, rising hair star Matt Fugate has spent the last several years honing his skills, which include extensions and delicate razor cuts.
Having trained under some of the industry's most prestigious stylists, including Sally Hershberger, Vivienne Mackinder, Oscar Bond, Sam Brocato and Mary Brunetti, Matt has developed his signature haircutting style: creating seamless layers and a streamlined shape to achieve a longer look. Matt prides himself on bringing out the best in his clients, while educating them on how to maintain gorgeous hair all year round.
Matt has recently lead teams for fashion shows and photo shoots for several New York based designers. He has also worked on an impressive roster of celebrities including Gossip Girl's Blake Lively, Claire Danes and Brooke Shields.
Matt is currently based at Sally Hershberger Downtown in New York City.
