After years of sitting at the manicurist station as a client and dealing with the all-too-familiar frustrations and shortcomings, Mayu Glazer decided to address these problems in an unexpected manner - she became a manicurist herself. Starting at Sweet Lily in TriBeca, Mayu began to implement her high standard of care, always with the client first and foremost in mind. Working under the tutelage of celebrated manicurist Deborah Lippmann, Mayu's talent was quickly recognized, resulting in celebrity house calls and her work appearing in the pages of German Vogue, Vogue India, Martha Stewart Living, Interview and W.
Transferring from Cornelia Day Spa, Mayu can now be seen at Sharon Dorram Color at Sally Hershberger, where she provides an array of indulgent services: soothing manicures and pedicures, quick polish changes for the busy, working woman and the innovative Cal Gel application for healthy, low-maintenance, long-lasting manicures.
