My hair seems to be pretty Normal, not too thin and not too thick. Should I use the line for Normal to Thin Hair or Normal to Thick Hair?
If you would like your hair to be more volumized, use the products for Normal to Thin Hair. If you are looking for more moisture to smooth and control your hair you should use the products for Normal to Thick hair.

My hair is curly - more than just wavy. Can I still use the Wavy products?
Absolutely. Wavy products will help to define and support your curls while providing the extra moisture that your hair needs to fight frizz and enhance control.

My hair is thin and straight but I want it to be wavy. Can I use the Wavy products?
Given that you have thin hair, the Wavy products will weigh your hair down. The Wavy products are truly formulated for people with Wavy hair. They help to define and support waves while providing the extra moisture that wavy hair needs to fight frizz and enhance control.
Products in the Normal to Thin line will add texture and volume to your hair. To get waves you will need to style your hair with a curling iron or rollers. Make sure to use the Style Primer for Normal to Thin Hair after you shampoo and condition but before you style your hair. If you use a curling iron to add waves the Style Primer will help to make those waves last longer, give them great support and volume and also protect your hair from the heat of the curling iron or rollers.

How do I use the Style Primer?
After washing your hair, towel dry and then apply Style Primer from root to end. Style as usual. You can also see video clips in which Sally herself shows you how to use Style Primer on www.sallyhershberger.com.

How do I use the Shagg Spray?
Make sure you shake the product well before use to mix the Texturizing minerals with the Moisturizing oils. Then spray throughout dry hair and comb through with fingers. You can also see video clips in which Sally herself shows you how to use Shagg Spray on www.sallyhershberger.com.

How do I use the Wreck and Roll Texturizing Gel?
Rub a dime-sized amount in hands (slightly more or less depending on the length of your hair). Then run hands through hair. Blow with hair dryer or let dry naturally, styling with your hands. You can also see video clips in which Sally herself shows you how to use Wreck & Roll Texturizing Gel on www.sallyhershberger.com.

How do I use the Wreck and Roll Texturizing Cream?
Rub a dime-sized amount in hands (slightly more or less depending on the length of your hair). Then run hands through hair. Blow with hair dryer or let dry naturally, styling with your hands. You can also see video clips in which Sally herself shows you how to use Wreck & Roll Texturizing Cream on www.sallyhershberger.com.

What is the difference between the Wreck & Roll Texturizing Gel and the Wreck & Roll Texturizing Cream?
The Texturizing Gel is great for hold and shape. It's a pliable, hi-tech gel that adds shiny definition to hair, while allowing you to mess and mold your hair into really modern, messy styles. The Texturizing Cream is for soft separation. It moisturizes hair with Shea and Cocoa butters to smooth hair, calm frizz and provide soft, weightless definition. You can see Sally demonstrate each product on www.sallyhershberger.com.

How do I use the Supreme Lift?
Spray at roots on wet or dry hair. Blast with blow dryer for softer texture or let dry naturally. You can also see video clips in which Sally herself shows you how to use Supreme Lift on www.sallyhershberger.com.

Does the product contain wax?
None of the Supreme Head products contain wax.

Do your products contain alcohol?
None of the shampoos, conditioners or style primers contains alcohol and most of our styling products do not.
In Star Shine, we use the fatty Oleyl Alcohol which is a non-drying alcohol, as well as SDA Alcohol (Denat.) which can be drying, but we have offset it by using beneficial silicones and natural oils.
Cetearyl alcohol, in the Wreck & Roll Texturizing Cream, is a "fatty" alcohol used to create the creamy texture of most lotions and creams used in skin and hair care products. It is a waxy solid that has moisturizing, hydrating, detangling and smoothing benefits on hair.
The type of alcohols you want to avoid include ethyl alcohol or isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) used in hair sprays and some styling products that is a volatile liquid that will dry out hair and skin. We did not use drying alcohols in our products.

What is the UPC? Do I have to have it to watch Sally's videos on the website?

You may enter the UPC code on the home page of www.sallyhershberger.com to see her demonstrate how to use that particular product or you may go to the Product Pages or Sally's Video Styling Tips page and view the videos from there.
